Our foundational training offers a well-tailored scheme and curriculum that covers foundational aspects of Montessori education. The program runs for 10 weeks and participants get certified after participation. The program gives you full 40-hour professional development hours for your ECE license renewal. Objectives of the intensive foundational training include:
- To lead any Montessori classroom
- To have deeper insights and understanding of the Montessori pedagogy
- To properly manage the day-to-day routines in a Montessori environment including the use of materials and presentations
Modules for the intensive training include:
- Introduction to the Montessori philosophy.
- Curriculum planning
- Presentation of materials in the 5 curriculum areas (practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and cultural studies)
- Classroom management and preparation
- Observation, evaluation and assessment
